This is the physical button. If your volume key is cracked, sunken, wobbly or has fallen out, this fixes it. If the key presses normally but volume does not change, the fault is usually the volume flex cable or the board, not the cap. Fitting means removing the back cover, so have opening picks, a heat pad and adhesive ready.
