Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

This Warranty Policy sets out the limited warranty offered by Repair Plus (Repair Plus Manchester Ltd) on the products we sell. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions and does not affect the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. What is covered

We provide a limited 30-day warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects — that is, faults in the materials or workmanship of the product that were present at the time of delivery and are not the result of damage or misuse.

If a product develops a genuine manufacturing fault within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, provide a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with this policy and your legal rights.

2. What is NOT covered

Because mobile phone screens and parts are fragile and depend heavily on correct handling and installation, this warranty does not cover:

  • Cracked, scratched, chipped or physically damaged screens or parts
  • Accidental or impact damage (e.g. drops, knocks, pressure)
  • Water, liquid or moisture damage
  • Damage caused during installation, fitting, removal or repair
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, tampering or unauthorised modification
  • Faults caused by other faulty components in your device
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Products where a fault cannot be verified as a manufacturing defect

Where inspection shows that an issue was caused by customer damage, installation, or misuse — including products that have been in use for a period of time and then become damaged — the warranty will not apply and no repair, replacement or refund will be due.

3. Installation

We strongly recommend that all parts are fitted by an experienced technician. Incorrect installation is one of the most common causes of damage and is not covered by this warranty. We are not responsible for any labour, installation or removal costs, or for any damage to your device arising from fitting our parts.

4. How to make a warranty claim

  1. Email therepairplusuk@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the fault, and supporting photos or video.
  2. We will review your claim and, if necessary, ask you to return the item for inspection.
  3. Return the item securely packaged, with proof of postage (a tracked service is recommended).
  4. Once received, we will inspect the item to determine whether the fault is a covered manufacturing defect.

If the claim is valid, we will repair, replace or refund the item and cover reasonable return postage. If inspection shows the issue is not a covered manufacturing defect, we will explain why and return the item to you where appropriate.

5. Business (B2B) customers

The same limited warranty against manufacturing defects applies to business customers. Our liability to business customers is limited as set out in our Terms and Conditions, and we are not liable for installation costs, labour, downtime, or any indirect or consequential loss.

6. Your statutory rights

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described). See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
