No. The Redmi Note 8 has a different display. This part fits the Redmi Note 8T only.
Do I need to move my phone into the new frame?
Yes. Because the frame comes attached, you transfer the internal parts from the old housing into this assembly.
Is the fingerprint sensor affected?
The Redmi Note 8T uses a rear fingerprint sensor, so it is not part of the screen and is not affected by the swap.
