Compatibility
Fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max only. It does not fit the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 mini, which use differently shaped speaker modules. Check your model in Settings > General > About before ordering.
Is it the loudspeaker or something else?
Before you open the phone, check the software side: turn the ring/silent switch off silent, raise the volume with the side buttons, and make sure no Bluetooth device is connected. Then play a video with the case removed. If the earpiece and headphones still work but the bottom speaker is silent or distorted, the loudspeaker is the likely fault.
Also clean the speaker grille at the bottom of the phone with a soft brush, as trapped dust and lint can muffle sound. If the problem remains, this replacement module is the fix. You will need a screen suction cup, pentalobe and Y-type screwdrivers, and a pry tool to reach the speaker.

No. It is made for the iPhone 12 Pro Max only. The iPhone 12 Pro has a smaller body and uses a different loudspeaker.
Does this fix the earpiece speaker used for calls?
No. This is the bottom loudspeaker for ringtones, media and speakerphone. The earpiece at the top of the screen is a separate part.
Is the speaker hard to fit?
It is a moderate repair. The screen and a few internal brackets must come off first, so take care with the display cables.
