Compatibility
Fits the standard Nintendo Switch (HAC-001). It does not fit the Switch Lite, which has its own card reader board. To check which Switch you own, look at the model number on the back of the console: HAC-001 or HAC-001(-01) is the standard Switch, HDH-001 is the Switch Lite and HEG-001 is the Switch OLED.
What you need to fit it
The card reader sits under the heatsink, so you open the back case, remove the microSD reader shield and heat shield, and unscrew the reader board. You need a Y00 tri-point driver, a small cross-head screwdriver and a plastic spudger. Take care with the small flex cables and reapply thermal paste if you disturb the heatsink.

Will this fit the Nintendo Switch Lite?
No. This assembly is for the standard Nintendo Switch (HAC-001). The Switch Lite needs its own reader.
My Switch says it cannot read the game card. Will this fix it?
If the fault is the card slot, yes. Try a different game card first to rule out a faulty cartridge.
Does it include the headphone jack?
Yes. The 3.5mm jack is part of the same board.
