How to fit a button flex cable
Power off the device and work on a clean, static-free mat. Open the device carefully, disconnect the battery before touching any connector, then lift the old flex away from its adhesive and clips. Seat the new cable in the same position, press the connector home until it clicks flat, and test every button before closing the device fully.
