Compatibility
Fits the iPad mini 4, model numbers A1538 and A1550. It does not fit the iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3 or iPad mini 5, which look similar but use different screens. Check the model number on the back of your iPad or in Settings > General > About.
Before you start
The iPad mini 4 screen is held in with strong adhesive, so you need a heat source, thin opening picks, a suction cup and new adhesive strips. Work slowly around the edges to avoid cutting flex cables, and disconnect the battery before unplugging the display. Test the new screen before sealing it down.
