Compatibility
This battery fits the Honor 90 Smart. It does not fit the Honor 90, Honor 90 Lite or Honor 90 Pro. Honor phones share a lot of similar names, so check your exact model in Settings > About phone (Settings > About device on some versions) before ordering.
What you need to fit this battery
- A heat pad or hair dryer to soften the back cover adhesive.
- A suction cup, plastic opening picks and a spudger.
- A small Phillips screwdriver for the internal plate screws.
- Fresh back cover adhesive to reseal the phone after the repair.
Power the phone off first and disconnect the battery connector before anything else. Never pierce, bend or use metal tools to lever a battery out. Most repairers use isopropyl alcohol under the cell to release the old adhesive safely.

How do I know my battery needs replacing?
Common signs are fast drain, shutdowns at 15 to 30 percent, slow or stalled charging, heat when charging and a swollen battery lifting the back cover. A swollen battery should be replaced straight away.
Should I calibrate the new battery?
After fitting, charge to 100 percent, then use the phone normally down to around 10 percent and charge fully again. The battery reading usually settles after a few cycles.
