Compatibility: which Pixel does this battery fit?
Fits the Google Pixel 9a only. It does not fit the Pixel 9 or Pixel 8a. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 8a each use their own battery. To check your model, open Settings > About phone and look at the model name.
How to replace the battery
- Power off and, ideally, run the old battery below 25 percent first.
- Open the Google Pixel 9a following a model-specific guide, then disconnect the battery connector first.
- Soften the old adhesive with gentle heat or a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and lift the battery slowly. Never bend or puncture it.
- Clean the old adhesive, fit fresh battery adhesive, seat the new battery and reconnect it.
- Reseal the phone and charge it to 100 percent.
Take your old battery to a recycling point, not household waste.

No. This battery is for the Google Pixel 9a only. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 8a each use their own battery, so check your model before ordering.
How do I know my Google Pixel 9a battery needs replacing?
Common signs are the phone dying before the end of the day, shutting down with charge showing, or a swollen battery pushing the back or screen out. Replace a swollen battery straight away.
Is it hard to fit a Pixel battery yourself?
Professional installation is recommended. Screens and small parts are delicate, so we recommend having this part fitted by a qualified repair technician. Damage caused during fitting is not a product fault.
