Is the port or the board at fault?
This version includes the integrated microphone, so it can also fix poor call audio caused by a faulty bottom board. Before ordering, try a different cable and charger and gently clear any lint from the port. If charging is still unreliable, the board is the likely cause. You will need suitable opening tools to remove the back cover, plastic pry tools and a small screwdriver. Always disconnect the battery before unplugging the board.
