Is the port or the board at fault?
The part is a small daughterboard with the USB-C connector soldered on, plus the attached flex cable and connector, ready to fit. Before ordering, try a different cable and charger and gently clear any lint from the port. If charging is still unreliable, the board is the likely cause. You will need suitable opening tools to remove the back cover, plastic pry tools and a small screwdriver. Always disconnect the battery before unplugging the board.
