The Xperia Z3 has two ways to charge: the magnetic contacts on the side, used with a magnetic dock or cable, and the standard cable socket behind its cover. This flex cable replaces the magnetic contacts only. If charging fails through the cable socket, you need the separate charging port for Xperia Z3 instead.
