Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7: SM-T550 (Wi-Fi) and SM-T555 (4G). It does not fit the Tab A 9.7 with S Pen (SM-P550, SM-P555) or the Galaxy Tab A 10.1. Check the model number in Settings > About tablet or on the back of the tablet.
What you need to fit this screen
This is a combined LCD and touch digitiser, so the picture and touch layers are replaced together. That is the right choice when your Galaxy Tab A 9.7 shows lines, black patches or no picture, as well as when the glass is cracked.
You will need a heat pad or heat gun, plastic opening picks, a small cross-head screwdriver and fresh tablet adhesive to seal the new screen into the housing. Work slowly around the edges and keep the flex cables clear as you lift the old screen out.

No. The SM-P550 and SM-P555 use a different screen.
Do I need the full screen or just the digitiser?
If the picture is damaged, you need this full assembly. If only the glass is cracked, the digitiser alone is cheaper.
