Opening the tablet
Tablets are opened by softening the adhesive around the screen or back cover and working round it with plastic picks. Disconnect the battery first, then unplug the old board, move across any small flex cables and fit the new board. Test charging before sealing the tablet with fresh adhesive.

Yes, if your model number is SM-T510. It is not listed for the LTE SM-T515 or the older 2016 Tab A 10.
Does this fit the 2016 Tab A 10.1?
No. The 2016 model (SM-T580) uses a different board. This part is for the 2019 SM-T510.
How do I know the charging port is the problem?
Try a different cable and charger and clean the port gently with a wooden toothpick. If the tablet still will not charge, charges only at an angle or is not seen by a computer, the port board is the likely fault.
