The Repair Plus 3000mAh replacement battery for Samsung Galaxy S9 is a brand new, OEM standard internal battery made for the Samsung Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F). It fixes a phone that only works on the charger or shuts down in the cold, and it is shipped the same day from Manchester when you order before 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Key features
- 3000mAh capacity: matches the rated capacity stated for the Galaxy S9 battery.
- Exact fit: sized and wired for the SM-G960F, with the correct connector for this model.
- Brand new cells: a fresh battery, not a used or refurbished pull.
- Tested before dispatch: every battery is checked before it leaves our Manchester stock room.
- Repair, do not replace: a new battery is far cheaper than a new phone and keeps a working handset in use.

Compatibility
This battery fits the Samsung Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F) only. It does not fit the Galaxy S9 Plus (SM-G965F), Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S10, which take their own batteries. The standard S9 is smaller than the S9 Plus and has a single rear camera, so the two phones take different parts. Check your model number in Settings > About phone, where it is listed as the model number (for example SM-G960F).
What you need to replace a Galaxy S9 battery
- New rear cover adhesive: the back panel is glued on, so you need a fresh adhesive seal, or a new rear battery cover, to close the phone.
- Battery adhesive strips: the old battery is stuck to the frame. New strips hold the new battery in place.
- Basic tools: heat source, suction cup, plastic picks and a small Phillips screwdriver.
Never lever against the battery with metal tools or puncture it. If the old battery is swollen, work slowly and dispose of it at a battery recycling point.

Frequently asked questions
Will this battery fit my Galaxy S9 Plus?
No. It is made for the Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F) only. Galaxy S9 Plus uses a different battery.
How do I know my Galaxy S9 battery needs replacing?
Common signs are fast draining, sudden shutdowns at 10 to 30%, the phone getting hot while charging, or the back cover lifting because the battery has swollen.
Can I fit it myself?
Professional installation is recommended. Screens and small parts are delicate, so we recommend having this part fitted by a qualified repair technician. Damage caused during fitting is not a product fault.
Should I charge the new battery before use?
Fit it, then charge it fully before first use. Battery readings settle after a few full charge cycles.
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday, go out the same day from Manchester.
