How to fit it
- Power the phone off and remove the back cover (gentle heat helps soften the adhesive on glass-backed models).
- Unscrew and lift away any plate covering the speaker, then disconnect the battery.
- Remove the old earpiece and seat the new one in the same position.
- Refit the parts, reconnect the battery and test sound before sealing the phone.
You will need a small Phillips screwdriver, plastic opening tools and fresh back cover adhesive where one is fitted.
