What you need to replace a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE battery
The battery sits under the rear glass, so you need to remove the back cover first. Have ready:
- A heat gun or hot plate to soften the back cover adhesive.
- A suction cup, plastic picks and a small Phillips screwdriver.
- A new back cover adhesive sheet to reseal the phone.
- Isopropyl alcohol to release the battery glue.
Disconnect the battery connector before you lift the cell. Never bend, puncture or lever against the battery with metal tools. Charge the new battery to 100 per cent after fitting to settle the charge reading.
