Compatibility
This tray fits the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), model J530. It does not fit the Galaxy J5 (2016) J510, the Galaxy J5 (2015) J500 or the J5 Prime, which use different trays. To check your model, open Settings > About phone and look for the model number, which should start with SM-J530.
Dual SIM or single SIM tray: which do you need?
A dual SIM tray only gives you two working SIM slots if your J5 (2017) is a dual SIM version of the phone. Fitting it in a single SIM handset will hold your SIM, but the second slot will not add a second line.
