This pink reader fits the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 (J330). It does not fit the Galaxy J3 2016 (J320) or Galaxy J5 2017 (J530). Check your model in Settings > About phone; the model number should start SM-J330. Also check your phone colour, as we list this reader in several colours.
Setting up your fingerprints again
Your saved fingerprints are linked to the old sensor, so after fitting the new reader you need to delete them and register them again. Go to Settings > Lock screen and security > Fingerprint scanner (the menu name can vary with software version), remove the old entries and add each finger again.
