Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A70 (model number SM-A705) only. It does not fit the Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A71 or Galaxy A50, which use different parts. To check your model, go to Settings > About phone and look for the model number, which should start with SM-A705.
Before you start the repair
On the Samsung Galaxy A70 the front camera is reached from the back of the phone once the back cover and mid-frame screws are removed. Use gentle heat to soften the back cover adhesive, work around with plastic picks, and disconnect the battery before touching the camera connector. Take care not to damage the display flex while you work, and fit new back cover adhesive before closing up.
