Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018) (SM-A600). It does not fit the larger Galaxy A6+ (2018) or Galaxy A8 (2018). Samsung reuses similar names across the A series, so check the model number in Settings > About phone before ordering: it should read SM-A600 followed by a region letter.
Before you replace the button flex
Buttons fail for more than one reason. Check that the phone case is not pressing the keys, and that the outer button caps are still in place. If the caps move freely but nothing happens, or the phone keeps restarting or showing the volume bar on its own, the flex is the usual cause. On this model you open the back, remove the internal covers and disconnect the battery before you lift the old flex out. You will need a heat pad or heat gun, a plastic opening tool, a small Phillips screwdriver and fresh back adhesive.
