How to fit a Samsung battery safely
- Power the phone off and warm the back cover gently to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back cover with a plastic opening tool, then remove any screws and the plate covering the battery connector.
- Disconnect the battery flex first, then use isopropyl alcohol or pull-tab adhesive to release the old battery. Never lever against the cell with metal tools.
- Fit the new battery, reconnect it, refit the cover with fresh adhesive and charge fully before use.
