What you need for this repair
Only a SIM ejector pin, or a straightened paper clip. If a piece of the old tray has snapped off inside the slot, use fine tweezers and a torch to remove it before fitting the new one. Do not force the tray, as that can bend the SIM reader pins inside the phone.

No. It is made for the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) (SM-A520) only. The Galaxy A5 (2016) A510, the Galaxy A5 (2015) A500, the Galaxy A3 (2017) A320 or the Galaxy A7 (2017) A720 each use a different tray, so it will not seat properly.
My phone says no SIM card. Will a new tray fix it?
If the old tray is bent or the card sits loose, a new tray usually solves it. If the phone still shows no SIM with a new tray, the SIM reader inside the phone may need attention.
Does the Blue colour match my phone exactly?
It is made to match a Blue Galaxy A5 2017. Shades can vary slightly between production runs, so allow for a small difference against an older, worn frame.
