This tray fits the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), model number SM-A520. It does not fit the Galaxy A5 (2016) A510, the Galaxy A5 (2015) A500, the Galaxy A3 (2017) A320 or the Galaxy A7 (2017) A720, which use different trays. To check your model, open Settings > About phone and look at the model number.
How to fit your new SIM tray
- Switch the phone off.
- Push a SIM ejector pin straight into the small hole next to the slot.
- Remove the old tray or any broken pieces; a pair of fine tweezers helps.
- Seat your card(s) in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in the right way up until it sits flush, then switch on.

No. It is made for the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) (SM-A520) only. The Galaxy A5 (2016) A510, the Galaxy A5 (2015) A500, the Galaxy A3 (2017) A320 or the Galaxy A7 (2017) A720 each use a different tray, so it will not seat properly.
How do I fit a new SIM tray on the Galaxy A5 2017?
Power the phone off, push a SIM ejector pin into the small hole beside the slot, and pull out any broken tray. Place your cards on the new tray, line it up and push it in gently until it sits flush.
Can I use a micro SD card in this tray?
No. This tray is for SIM cards only. It does not include a micro SD position.
