Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A40 (A405) only. It does not fit the Galaxy A30 (A305) or Galaxy A41, which use different parts. Check your model number in Settings > About phone before ordering, and pick the white version if your phone is white.
Before and after fitting
Back up your phone and remove your saved fingerprints before the repair. After fitting, go to Settings > Biometrics and security > Fingerprints and register them again. Old fingerprint data does not carry across to a new sensor, so a fresh setup gives the best read rate.
