Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A40 (A405) only. It does not fit the Galaxy A30 (A305) or Galaxy A41, which use different parts. Check your model number in Settings > About phone before ordering, and pick the black version if your phone is black.

A new sensor reads your finger slightly differently from the old one. Delete old fingerprints and add them again in Settings > Biometrics and security > Fingerprints. If the phone reports no sensor at all, check the flex connector is fully seated.
