Galaxy A40 SIM tray compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A40 with model number SM-A405. It does not fit the Galaxy A41, Galaxy A50 or Galaxy A20e. To confirm your model, open Settings > About phone and check the model number. Make sure you also match the tray type: this is a dual SIM tray, and a single SIM phone needs the single SIM version.
Single SIM or dual SIM: which tray do you need?
Samsung sold many A-series models in both single and dual SIM versions, and the trays are not the same. A model number ending in /DS or /DSN in Settings > About phone usually means a dual SIM phone. If your old tray had two SIM spaces, choose a dual tray.

Will this SIM tray fit my Galaxy A40?
Yes, if your model number is SM-A405. It does not fit the Galaxy A41. Check the model number in Settings > About phone before ordering.
My phone says No SIM. Will a new tray fix it?
If the old tray is bent or cracked, the card may not touch the reader contacts and a new tray often fixes it. A damaged card reader needs a separate repair.
Is the black colour a close match?
Yes. The tray is finished in Black to match that colour of the Galaxy A40.
