- Lift the cover with a suction cup and opening pick, then remove the mid-frame screws.
- Disconnect the battery connector first, before anything else.
- Apply a little isopropyl alcohol under the old cell and lift it out slowly with a plastic tool. Never puncture or bend it.
- Fit the new battery with fresh adhesive, reconnect, test, then reseal the cover.
