Compatibility
Fits the Samsung Galaxy A21 (SM-A215) only. It does not fit the Galaxy A21s (SM-A217) or Galaxy A20s (SM-A207). To confirm your model, open Settings > About phone and check the model number starts with SM-A215.
Before you fit a fingerprint reader
Choose the colour that matches your Galaxy A21 body, as the sensor surface is visible from outside. Power the phone off before you open it, and disconnect the battery connector before unplugging the old reader. Once the new reader is fitted, delete your saved fingerprints in Settings > Security and privacy > Biometrics (menu names vary by software version) and register them again, because stored prints are linked to the old sensor.

Will this fingerprint reader fit my Galaxy A21s?
No. This part is made for the Samsung Galaxy A21 (SM-A215) only. The A21s is a different phone and needs its own fingerprint part.
Do I need to re-register my fingerprints?
Yes. After fitting a new reader, remove the old fingerprints from the biometrics menu and add them again so the phone reads the new sensor correctly.
Is the black colour a close match?
Yes. This reader is supplied in black to suit black versions of the Galaxy A21. If your phone is a different colour, choose the matching colour option.
Is soldering needed?
