This tray fits the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G (SM-A166P) only. It does not fit the 4G Galaxy A16 or the Galaxy A15 range, which use different trays. SIM trays are model-specific, so a tray from a similar Galaxy A phone will not sit flush or may not hold the cards correctly. To check your model, go to Settings > About phone and look at the model number, which should include A166P.
What to check before you order
Make sure the problem is the tray and not the reader inside the phone. If your old tray is bent, cracked or missing, this part is the fix. If the tray is fine but the phone still shows no SIM, the SIM reader or its flex may be damaged, which is a separate repair. Also check that a broken piece of the old tray is not still stuck inside the slot before fitting the new one.
The tray works in two ways: fit two Nano-SIM cards for two numbers, or one Nano-SIM plus a Micro SD card for extra storage.
