Compatibility
Fits the first generation PS5 DualSense controller, model CFI-ZCT1W, using the short microphone flex. It is not for the revised CFI-ZCT2 controller. A long version is listed separately. Check the model number on the controller's back label before ordering.

DualSense controllers use microphone flex cables in more than one length. Open the controller and compare the old cable with the listing before ordering, or check the model number printed on the back label of the controller.
You will need a small Phillips screwdriver, opening picks and a spudger. Take care with the other ribbons inside the controller, especially the battery and trigger cables.

Very likely. This short flex carries the mute button, microphone and USB-C port, so one damaged cable can stop all three.
Is this hard to fit?
It is a moderate repair. The controller shell unclips, then a few screws and ribbon connectors come out. No soldering is needed.
Will this fix a controller that will not connect by USB?
Only if the fault is in this flex. If the USB-C port itself is damaged, you may need a separate port part.
