Connect the new screen to the phone and power it on before you peel any protective film or apply adhesive. Check the picture, brightness and touch across the whole panel. Disconnect the battery before working, use an ESD strap, and never bend the flex cable more than 90 degrees, as a sharp fold can cause a black display.
