Compatibility
Fits the standard Nintendo Switch (HAC-001). It does not fit the Nintendo Switch Lite. To check which Switch you own, look at the model number on the back of the console: HAC-001 or HAC-001(-01) is the standard Switch, HDH-001 is the Switch Lite and HEG-001 is the Switch OLED.
Tools for the job
You need a Y00 tri-point screwdriver, a small cross-head screwdriver, a plastic spudger and thermal paste. The reader sits beneath the heatsink, so the fan and heatsink have to come out. Disconnect the battery first and reapply thermal paste before closing the console.
