Compatibility
Suitable for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. It is not listed for the Switch OLED model. To check which Switch you own, look at the model number on the back of the console: HAC-001 or HAC-001(-01) is the standard Switch, HDH-001 is the Switch Lite and HEG-001 is the Switch OLED.
Check the fault first
- Try two different pairs of wired headphones.
- Look inside the port with a torch for lint or bent contacts, and clean gently.
- Check the audio output settings in System Settings.
- If the fault remains, replace the jack. It is a soldered part, so a soldering iron and flux are needed.

Frequently asked questions
Is this jack the same for the Switch and Switch Lite?
It is listed as compatible with both consoles. Check your model number on the back before ordering.
Why do my headphones only play in one ear?
A worn or loose jack is a common cause. Replacing the jack usually fixes it if the headphones work on other devices.
Can I fit it without soldering?
Professional installation is recommended. Screens and small parts are delicate, so we recommend having this part fitted by a qualified repair technician. Damage caused during fitting is not a product fault.
Where is it shipped from?
From our UK stock in Manchester, the same day for orders before 4pm, Monday to Friday.
