Compatibility
Fits the Motorola Moto G8 Power. It does not fit the Moto G8, Moto G8 Plus or Moto G8 Power Lite. Phones in the same range often look alike but use different internal parts, so check your exact model in Settings > About phone before you order.
After fitting the reader
A new sensor does not carry over saved fingerprints. Once the Moto G8 Power is back together, delete the old fingerprints and add them again under the security settings. Handle the flex gently, as creasing it near the connector is the most common cause of a new sensor not working.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fingerprint reader with flex cable fit my Moto G8?
No. This part is made for the Motorola Moto G8 Power only. Check your model in Settings > About phone before ordering.
Will my saved fingerprints still work?
No. Fingerprint data is not stored on the sensor you remove, so register your fingerprints again once the new reader is fitted.
Is this the right colour for my Moto G8 Power?
This reader is Capri Blue. We also stock other colours, so pick the one that matches your phone.
Is this a difficult repair?
It is a moderate repair. Most of the time is spent opening the phone safely; the flex itself unplugs and plugs in once you reach it.
How fast will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day from our Manchester stock.
