Compatibility
This charging port flex board fits the Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite. It is not listed for the Moto G8 Power or Moto G8 Plus. Despite the similar names, those phones use different charging parts. To check your model, open Settings > About phone on your Motorola and read the model name, or look for the model number on the phone's box.
How to fit the charging port flex board
- Power off the Moto G8 Power Lite and remove the SIM tray.
- Lift the back cover carefully, using a plastic opening pick, a small Phillips screwdriver and a heat pad or hair dryer to soften the rear adhesive.
- Remove the lower cover screws and disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the old part, move across any antenna cables, the microphone and speaker parts, then fit the new one.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging and data, then close the phone.
