Compatibility
This charging port board fits the Motorola Moto G7 Play. It is not listed for the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus or Moto G7 Power. Each G7 model has its own charging part. To check your model, open Settings > About phone on your Motorola and read the model name, or look for the model number on the phone's box.
How to fit the charging port board
- Power off the Moto G7 Play and remove the SIM tray.
- Lift the back cover carefully, using a plastic opening pick, a small Phillips screwdriver and a heat pad or hair dryer to soften the rear adhesive.
- Remove the lower cover screws and disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the old part, move across any antenna cables, the microphone and speaker parts, then fit the new one.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging and data, then close the phone.
