Compatibility
This charging port board fits the Motorola Moto G50. It is not listed for the Moto G5, Moto G51 or Moto G52. Motorola also sold the G50 in more than one version, so compare your old board with the listing photos before fitting. To check your model, open Settings > About phone on your Motorola and read the model name, or look for the model number on the phone's box.
How to fit the charging port board
- Power off the Moto G50 and remove the SIM tray.
- Lift the back cover carefully, using a spudger, a precision screwdriver set and gentle heat to release the back cover.
- Remove the lower cover screws and disconnect the battery connector first.
- Unplug the old part, move across any antenna cables, the microphone and speaker parts, then fit the new one.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging and data, then close the phone.
