Compatibility
For the iPhone 8 Plus only. It will not fit the iPhone 8, iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone SE. Check your model in Settings > General > About, or find the model number (A1864, A1897 or A1898) on the back of the phone.
How to fit your iPhone 8 Plus screen
- Power the phone off and remove the two pentalobe screws next to the charging port.
- Warm the edges and lift the screen with a suction cup and opening pick, opening it like a book.
- Disconnect the battery first, then the display connectors.
- Transfer the home button, front camera and earpiece, and back plate from the old screen to the new one.
- Test display and touch before sealing with fresh adhesive.
