No. The iPhone 17 Pro Max uses a different earpiece. This one is for the iPhone 17 Pro only.
Does this include the proximity sensor?
No. This is the earpiece speaker only. The sensors come on the separate earpiece speaker sensor flex.
Why is only the top of my phone silent in videos?
The top earpiece also plays the left stereo channel, so a failed earpiece makes media sound one-sided.
Will iOS show a message after I replace it?
Some iPhone models may show an unknown part or parts history notice in Settings after a component is replaced. The notice is informational and the part continues to work normally.
