This flex fits the iPhone 17 Pro only. It is not compatible with the iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 or any earlier iPhone, as the flex shape and connector placement differ. Check your exact model in Settings > General > About before ordering.

The flex sits at the top of the display assembly, so the screen must be removed first. Disconnect the battery, work slowly around the fragile sensor flex, and keep the area free of dust. Test calls, proximity and auto-brightness before sealing the phone with new adhesive.
