What is the difference between soft OLED and hard OLED?
A soft OLED uses a flexible panel, like the phone's factory screen, so it is thinner and more resistant to knocks. A hard OLED uses a rigid panel and is a lower-cost option.
Is soft OLED better than LCD?
For picture quality, yes. OLED gives deeper blacks, better contrast and lower power use on dark content than an LCD screen.
Will my iPhone show a message about the screen?
iOS may show a notice that the display could not be verified. This is normal for any non-Apple replacement screen and does not affect use.
