Compatibility
Fits the iPad mini 2 (A1489, A1490, A1491). It does not fit the iPad mini 4, mini 5 or mini 6, which use bonded screens. Check your iPad in Settings > General > About (tap Model Number to see the A-number), or read the A-number printed on the back of the case.
LCD, glass or both?
On the iPad mini 2, the LCD and the touch glass are separate parts. If only the picture has failed, this LCD is all you need. If the glass is cracked but the picture is fine, buy a digitiser. If both are damaged, replace both at once, since the glass has to come off to reach the LCD anyway.
