The Repair Plus Huawei P40 SIM card tray in Black is a replacement SIM card tray made for the Huawei P40. It replaces a lost, bent or broken tray and stops your SIM card sliding loose or failing to read. Brand new, OEM standard fit, tested before dispatch and shipped the same day from Manchester when you order before 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Key features
- Made for the Huawei P40: shaped to OEM standard dimensions so it slides into the slot and sits flush with the frame.
- Holds your SIM card: the card sits in a cut-out that keeps it level against the reader pins.
- Black finish: chosen to match the black version of the Huawei P40, so the outer edge blends with your frame.
- Brand new and tested: every tray is checked for shape and fit before it leaves our Manchester stock.
- Simple fix: no screws or opening the phone; you only need a SIM ejector pin to remove the old tray.

How to fit a replacement SIM tray

Frequently asked questions
Will this SIM card tray fit my Huawei P40?
Yes, it is made for the Huawei P40. It will not fit the Huawei P40 Pro, so check your model in Settings > About phone first.
Do I need tools to fit it?
Professional installation is recommended. Screens and small parts are delicate, so we recommend having this part fitted by a qualified repair technician. Damage caused during fitting is not a product fault.
My phone says No SIM. Will a new tray fix it?
If the fault is caused by a bent, loose or broken tray, a new tray usually fixes it. If the SIM card or the reader inside the phone is damaged, you will need to replace those instead.
Does the colour matter for fit?
No. The Black tray has the same shape as the other colours for the Huawei P40. Choose the colour that matches your phone.
How fast will it arrive?
