Compatibility
Fits the Huawei P40 only. It does not fit the Huawei P40 Pro or Huawei P40 Pro Plus, which use different internal layouts. This is for the standard Huawei P40, the smallest model in the P40 range. Check your exact model in Settings > About phone before ordering, and compare the new part with the old one before fitting.
Before you replace the flex
If a button feels loose or does nothing, the fault is often a worn contact or torn flex rather than the phone board. Try a forced restart first, then check for liquid marks near the side keys. If the keys still fail, replacing this flex is the usual fix. You will need a heat tool or heat pad, a pry tool, a spudger and replacement back or screen adhesive, depending on how your model opens.
