How to fit a rear battery cover
- Power the phone off and warm the back evenly with a heat gun or hot plate to soften the old adhesive.
- Lift the old cover with a suction cup and a thin plastic pick, working slowly around the edge.
- Clean all old adhesive and glass fragments from the frame with isopropyl alcohol.
- Remove the backing film from the new adhesive, align the cover and camera lens carefully and press it firmly into place.
- Clamp or hold the cover under light pressure for a few minutes so the adhesive bonds.
