Connector flex or fingerprint reader?
If the fingerprint option has vanished from settings or the phone says no sensor is found, the connector flex is a common cause, especially after a back cover replacement. If the reader is physically cracked, you may need the reader itself as well.
Remove the back cover with gentle heat, disconnect the battery, then swap the flex and refit the back with fresh adhesive.
