Weak signal after a drop, or signal problems that started after another repair, often point to a loose or damaged antenna cable. Before replacing it, check the SIM card and network settings, and try the SIM in another phone. If the fault stays with the handset, open the back and check both cable ends are fully seated. If the cable is kinked, cut or the ends are loose, fit a new one.
