This battery fits the Honor X6, model numbers VNE-LX1 and VNE-LX2, which uses battery code HB496590EFW. It is not for the Honor X6b, which uses a different battery (HB476594EGW). Check your model number in Settings > About phone before ordering.
How to fit a replacement battery safely
- Power the phone off and let it cool if the old battery is warm or swollen.
- Soften the rear panel adhesive with gentle heat, then lift the back with a suction cup and a thin plastic pick.
- Remove the covers over the battery connector and disconnect the battery before touching anything else.
- Release the old battery slowly using isopropyl alcohol under the adhesive. Never bend, puncture or lever against the cells.
- Fit the new battery, reconnect it, test that the phone powers on and charges, then reseal the back with fresh adhesive.
