Honor 9 compatibility
Fits the Honor 9 only. It does not fit the Honor 9 Lite, Honor 9X or Honor 8. These models use different frames and button layouts. Check your exact model in Settings > About phone before ordering.
Is it the flex or the button caps?
If the outer buttons move freely but nothing happens when you press them, the flex is the likely cause. If a button is physically missing or jammed in the frame, check the button caps as well. On the Honor 9, a phone that turns on by itself or keeps changing volume often points to a damaged or liquid-affected flex.
Fitting usually means opening the phone, disconnecting the battery and carefully lifting the old flex from the frame. Use a plastic pry tool, precision screwdrivers and a little heat where adhesive holds the flex.
